The Korea Tourism Organization liked this drama's Jeju so much it published an official 'Real Jeju' course — here's the visitable version.

1Geumneung Beach & Port (the drama's Pureung Village)

The main stand-in for the fictional Pureung fishing village of the haenyeo and fishermen — shallow turquoise water facing Biyangdo Island, including the episode-15 photo-shoot scene.

Address
Geumneung-ri, Hallim-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju
Getting there
Bus 202 from Jeju City Bus Terminal along the west coast (about 1 hour).

💡 Low tide opens wide sandbars for the postcard Biyangdo view — and Hyeopjae Beach is a 10-minute walk north.

2Gapado Island

The flat green island of Yeong-ok and Jeong-jun's bicycle date through the barley fields.

Address
Gapa-ri, Daejeong-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju (ferry from Moseulpo)
Getting there
Bus 202 or 151 to Moseulpo, then the 15-minute passenger ferry.

💡 Ferries are limited and weather-dependent — book the round trip ahead. April–May is the barley festival, exactly the drama's look.

3Goseong Five-day Market (Seongsan)

The traditional market where Ok-dong and Chun-hui sell vegetables and Yeong-ok sells seafood.

Address
Goseong-ri, Seongsan-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju
Getting there
Bus 201 from Jeju City toward Seongsan (about 1.5 hours).

💡 It only opens on dates ending in 4 and 9 (the 4th, 9th, 14th…) — time your visit or you'll find an empty lot.

4Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road

The turbine-lined seaside road from the drama's opening images, where Yeong-ok drives the haenyeo along the coast.

Address
Sinchang-ri, Hangyeong-myeon, Jeju-si, Jeju
Getting there
Bus 202 from Jeju City along the west coast (about 70 minutes).

💡 Walk the short over-water promenade at sunset when the turbines go to silhouette.

5Seongsan Ilchulbong

The UNESCO tuff cone looming over the eastern scenes — an anchor of the KTO's official Our Blues course.

Address
284-12 Ilchul-ro, Seongsan-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju
Getting there
Bus 201 or 211/212 from Jeju City (about 1.5 hours).

💡 Go early to beat the tour buses, and catch the haenyeo dive demonstration at the cove below — the drama's diving scenes in real life.

6Woljeongri Beach

The white-sand, café-lined beach Hyun sprints along in episode 5.

Address
Woljeong-ri, Gujwa-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju
Getting there
Bus 201 along the northeast coast (50–60 minutes from Jeju City).

💡 Grab a window seat at any beachfront café for the drama's aquamarine frame.

Two coasts, two days

Our Blues lives on Jeju’s west coast (Geumneung, Sinchang, the Gapado ferry from Moseulpo) with two eastern outliers (Seongsan, Woljeongri). Bus 202 chains the entire west side; bus 201 covers the east. If you’re also doing the When Life Gives You Tangerines loop, the eastern spots overlap almost perfectly — one combined east day, one Blues-only west day.

The haenyeo thread

The drama’s heart is the haenyeo diving community, and you can meet the real thing: the Seongsan cove demonstration and Gimnyeong’s village diving program both run regularly. Jeju’s haenyeo culture is UNESCO-listed intangible heritage — the show is a faithful portrait, not an invention.
