3-Day Seoul K-Drama Itinerary (No Guide Needed)

How this itinerary works
Each day clusters filming locations that share a subway line, so you never backtrack. Get a T-money card at any convenience store on arrival, and load Naver Map (Google Maps doesn’t route walking/transit well in Korea). Everything here is doable solo, without a guide, on public transport.
Day 1 — Historic north: Goblin country
| Time | Stop | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 08:30 | Bukchon Hanok Village | Goblin, The Heirs alleys before the crowds |
| 11:00 | Samcheong-dong café street | Drama-famous cafés, easy lunch |
| 13:30 | Gyeongbokgung Palace | Sageuk (historical drama) staple; free entry in hanbok |
| 16:00 | Insadong | Souvenirs, dalgona candy stalls |
| 18:30 | Gwangjang Market | Itaewon Class vibes, bindaetteok dinner |
Day 2 — Squid Game & the Han River
| Time | Stop | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 09:30 | Ssangmun-dong / Baekun Market | Gi-hun’s neighborhood (Squid Game) |
| 13:00 | Yangjae Citizens’ Forest Station | The ddakji scene platform |
| 15:00 | Gangnam / COEX | K-pop side quest: agency buildings, K-star Road |
| 17:30 | Han River Park (Banpo) | The default K-drama picnic-and-ramyeon scene — rent a mat, order chicken |
Day 3 — Day trip: Nami Island
The original. ITX train from Yongsan to Gapyeong (1 hour), ferry across, and you’re inside Winter Sonata. Pair it with Petite France (My Love from the Star, Bon Appétit, Your Majesty) on a combo day tour if you’d rather not juggle local buses — the bundled tours usually work out cheaper anyway.
Book ahead: Nami + Petite France combo tours sell out on autumn weekends.
Budget snapshot (per person)
- T-money transit for 3 days: about ₩15,000

Total sightseeing cost for three full days: under ₩70,000 (about $50).
